Which State Has More Breweries, Tennessee Or Kentucky?

According to World Population Review, Tennessee has more breweries than Kentucky.  Tennessee has 108 and Kentucky has 69.

The days of everyone drinking Bud Light and Miller Light are over.  Those are still popular brands, but people want to do more than get drunk while drinking beer.  Beer drinkers want something with more flavor.  Over the past decade breweries have been popping up all over the country.

California for example has 907 breweries which is by far the most in the country.  The next one behind them is Colorado with 425.  The state with the least number of breweries is Mississippi with just 14.

Tennessee Breweries produce around 190,000 barrels per year and Kentucky produces around 130,000.

Next time you want to do brewery tour, just make sure you have an Uber driver.  No drinking and driving.
