When Your Daughter Bakes You Cookies

OK, I feel like I’m fulfilling my dad role in life by making sure ALL these cookies disappear.  Why?  Because my 2 1/2 year old went to mommy the other day while I was at work and said she wanted to make daddy some cookies.  Well the result was….3 dozen fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies.  And when I came home, she greeted me with a cookie in her hand.  Now, I can’t just let her think I didn’t like them, right?  I mean, I HAVE to eat more, and when I ate 5 in a row, she had the biggest smile.  So I did what any dad would do for their daughter, I ate and ate and ate.  I mean, after all, when your daughter bakes you cookies, you can’t let her down, right?  I think I’m lovin’ 2021!  lol
