What Was Your Favorite Item From The Ice Cream Truck?

Summer is here and that only means one thing, ICE CREAM TRUCKS!!!

The first ice cream truck hit the streets in 1920 and kids have been enjoying them every summer since.

There was no better sound as a kid then the ice cream truck coming down your street or when you heard it in your neighborhood.  As a kid, we could hear it from miles away, then we would wait and hope it would come down our street.  But whenever you heard that music playing you had to hurry and get money because once it passed your house it was gone until the next time.  Or we use to have to beg mom to buy us something, ahh the good ole days.

I never had one particular item I would get but I did have favorites.  It was always so overwhelming to look at all the choices of ice cream bars and just pick one.  Like the WWF ice cream bar was on top of the list, then any type of character head with the gumballs for eyes like Bart Simpson, Bugs Bunny or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I am 32 and still get excited when I hear the Ice Cream truck.

What was your favorite thing to get off the ice cream truck?
