What Is Something You’ve Done But Will Never Do Again?

I was fresh out of high school and my friends wanted to go on a road trip to the beach.  We packed my car and headed to Virginia Beach to soak up the sun.

It was my and two other buddies.  My one buddy suggested we all go parasailing since we could all do it together.  My one friend backed out because he wasn’t a fan of heights.  I am not a big fan of heights either but I also figured how many chances am I going to have to parasail over the ocean, so I did it.

They had three different height options for us.  We could either go 800 feet in the air, a 1,000 feet or 1,400 feet.  My buddy chose 1,400 and I regretfully went along with it.

We load up in the boat and now it’s our turn to parasail.  They strap us in and start letting us sail.  Everything was just fine until we got to 1,400 feet.  There was so much tension that the rope started to make weird noises which I am sure was normal but I didn’t like it.  Once you’re up there you stay there for about 20 minutes or so.  Now, don’t get me wrong, the view was amazing but I was freaking out.

Don’t get me wrong, I am glad I did it but I will never do it again!
