What Did You Have For Dinner At Your Wedding?

On Friday afternoon, July 1st I got married to my now wife.  It was a very impromptu wedding.  I sent her a text about two weeks ago stating we should get married soon, meaning like sometime this year.  Well, since it was so close to the date we got engaged my wife thought it would be cute to get married on that same date.

With both our families on two different sides of the country we knew it would be hard to get them together, so we went and got married without them.

It was a simple ceremony with our daughters at a private office.  It took only a few minutes and we were officially married.  But since we didn’t really plan this very well I had to go back to work to finish my duties for the day and my wife had to work at night time.

I knew we weren’t going to go out and eat so I grabbed food on the way home.  Of course, if you know me then you probably know where I stopped, McDonald’s.

I came home and sat at the kitchen table alone eating my Double Cheeseburger and fries.  I guess that’s better than my original plan of having grilled cheese served at our wedding.

What did you have to eat at your wedding?
