We’re Spending Half of Our Lives in Bed

Here’s something that may motivate you to get up and do something with your time here on Earth . . .

A new study found that the average American will spend HALF OF THEIR LIFE in bed.

When looking at the average, we sleep about 7 hours a night, but throw in an extra four hours of just being in bed — reading . . . watching TV . . . trying to fall asleep . . . vegging out . . . or, ummm, other things (wink, wink; nudge, nudge) — and that brings the tally to 11 hours in bed!

Yes, that seems high, but keep in mind, the study pulled results for the “average person,” which means we have to factor in college kids and the elderly who may spend more time in their bedroom to begin with.

The U.S. life expectancy is just over 78, so that math breaks down to the average American spending 36 YEARS of their life in bed.
