We’re Not Upgrading Our Phones As Fast As We Used To

Remember when you, or the majority of people you knew, could barely hang onto a phone for longer than 2 years?

Well, according to a new study, that’s not quite the case anymore. Now, the average length of time a person is holding onto their phones is 2 years and 10 months.

What changed?  Phones cost WAY more than they used to . . . Mobile companies aren’t offering deals like they did once upon a time . . . most places have ditched their two-year contracts, which kind of forced us to upgrade on the every-two-year cycle.

Jai’s been rocking her iPhone 7 Plus since last summer and is kind of chomping at the bit for the iPhone XS Max.

Fletch has been hooked to his iPhone 5 since circa 2012/2013-ish.
