Was That Snow Real?

Evidently there’s a conspiracy theory now that the snow that fell last week isn’t real because it’s not melting fast enough.  Have you heard this one yet?  People are thinking i guess that the 10 foot high piles of snow from all the plowing should’ve been gone by the end of 70 almost 70 degree days.  As much as I hate snow, even I’m not on board for this one.  Having come from the mountains of Southwest Virginia where piles of snow this high or higher are common, I can tell you that it takes a while for this stuff to melt.  And to add on top of that, we still have some winter left and my grandparents would say if you saw a snow “hanging around” that means it’s waiting on another one.  I don’t know how true that is but one thing I’m pretty dang sure of, this past snow was not fake, it was real, but I am with those that do think, it can’t be gone fast enough.
