I am from Cleveland, Ohio where it’s not very easy to access a Waffle House, unless you’re willing to drive at least an hour.
When I lived in North Carolina, they were on every corner, so I finally had to try one. I went about 2-3 times. First time wasn’t bad, but the other times were terrible, so I kind of gave up on them. When we moved to Clarksville, my mom and sister helped with the move. Well, our hotel was directly behind the one on Wilma Rudolph. My mom said she never had been to one, so we all went and had a great meal. Ever since then, we have been hooked.
Since moving here, we go at least once a month for breakfast, my daughter now loves it. We went over the weekend, the food was so hot and fresh, we had to let it cool down before we ate it.
I know everyone has their own opinions about Waffle House, but we love it.
They may be called Waffle House and known for Waffles, but they have, hands down the best hash browns ever.
I don’t know where Waffle House stands on your breakfast scale but it’s at the top of the list for the Brooks family….
