Two People Are Suing McDonald’s For No ‘Hold the Cheese’ Discount

People are getting way too litigious anymore.

Two people from Florida think it’s unfair to order a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder without cheese and McD’s not give a discount. Their logic is that ordering a plain hamburger costs less than a cheeseburger on their menu, so all other items should cost less when asked for without cheese.

They’re looking for $5 million in damges over a $4 menu item. (Hand, meet forehead.)

This makes us think back to the “coffee’s too hot” lady that sued McD’s back in the ’90s, but she deserved her win. A lot of what you may remember from that lawsuit was actually false. Check out what you may not have known from that one here.
