Two killed in crash on 101st Pkwy at Trenton Rd identified

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Two people were killed in a crash overnight on the 101st Airborne Division Pkwy at the intersection of Trenton Rd. The crash involving two cars occurred just before 1:25 a.m. Sunday. Police said 18-year-old Joshua A. Guillen Lopez and 18-year-old Samia T. Lucas, both from Clarksville, died in the crash. ho-young-kang Ho Young Kang, a Georgia resident, was charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, DUI, and failure to obey a traffic signal. His bond was set at $2,550,000. His arrest warrant says Kang was traveling east on 101st Parkway when he ran a red light and struck the victims’ vehicle on the driver’s side. Lopez died from his injuries in the crash. Lucas was Lifelgihted to Vanderbilt Medical Center where she later died. Records show Kang was previously charged with DUI more than 10 years ago.
