Top Comic Con Trailers that everyone is talking about

The first trailer for the live-action “Wonder Woman” movie starring GAL GADOT premiered at Comic-Con on Saturday.  It doesn’t reveal much of the plot, but it shows plenty of her being a badass while fighting a whole army.  It’ll hit theaters on June 2nd of next year.  Gal also Tweeted out the sexy poster art.

“Wonder Woman” will set the table for the DC Cinematic Universe’s even BIGGER movie, “Justice League”, which unites Batman, Wonder Woman, Aqua Man, the Flash, Cyborg, and probably Superman. A teaser for that one was also unleashed at Comic-Con, and it sort of feels like “Ocean’s 11” the way it’s set up.  So it’s way more fun than the dark “Batman Vs. Superman”.  And the teaser features “Icky Thump” by the White Stripes. Superman isn’t in the trailer, but Henry Cavill was at Comic-Con . . . and director Zack Snyder said, quote, “You’ve got to have Superman.”  It comes out in November of next year.

There was also a new “Suicide Squad” trailer that felt like a music video.  It comes out on August 5th.

The new “Dr. Strange” trailer gives us the first look of Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Baron Karl Mordo character.  It’ll be out on November 4th.

EDDIE REDMAYNE fired up the 6,000 or so “Harry Potter” fans at the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”event by handing out WANDS.  They also released a new trailer.  The movie will be out in November.

A first look at “Kong: Skull Island” was released.  It stars Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston, and John Goodman, and will be out in March.

If you haven’t made your CULTURAL Brexit yet, you may be interested in the trailers for Season Four of “Sherlock” . . . and a new show called “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency”, which is coming to BBC America in October. “Sherlock” will return to PBS after the new year.

FX debuted the trailer for its “X-Men” themed show “Legion”.  It will debut sometime early next year.

The first trailer for Season Seven of “The Walking Dead” was also released, and it features a tiger and the first look at King Ezekiel.  It also does NOT spoil last season’s cliffhanger.  The show will return on October 23rd.

There’s also a trailer for “The Lego Batman Movie”, featuring the voices of Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, and Zach Galifianakis.  It comes out in February.
