Top 5 Annoying Movie Theater Habits

With the ability to watch stellar movies in the comfort of our own homes, are many of us still hitting up movie theaters?

Apparently the answer is YES, but that’s not stopping us from being super annoyed by our fellow moviegoers.

According to a new survey, here are the most annoying things people do in a movie theater:

1. TALKING – It was the number one answer. 65% answered this is the MOST annoying thing someone can do at a movie. Kind of shocked it was only 65%, though.

2. PHONE USAGE – Letting your phone ring, answering it, texting . . . basically anything that causes your phone to make noise or light up is annoyingly distracting.

3. LOUD EATING/SLURPING – Some people don’t like when others are loudly eating and/or slurping in general, but when it comes to doing it during a movie, people lose their chill.

4. MAKING PEOPLE MOVE – Like, asking someone to get up so you can get out of the row to go use the bathroom.  You know your bladder. Pick an aisle seat if you can’t hold it throughout the film.

5. INAPPROPRIATE LAUGHING – Apparently, people don’t like their fellow moviegoers to laugh when the moment in the film isn’t suppose to be funny.

The survey also found the top films we enjoy seeing at the theater with our best friends — action . . . horror . . . and comic book movies.

Romantic Comedies are the top movies we want to see with our significant other.
