Toby Keith stands by his decision to perform at Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration

Toby Keith will perform at Donald Trump’s Friday Presidential inauguration and while the country may still have mixed feelings, his are quite clear. Toby tells Entertainment Weekly, “I don’t apologize for performing for our country or military,” Keith said in a statement to EW. “I performed at events for previous presidents [George W.] Bush and [Barack] Obama and over 200 shows in Iraq and Afghanistan for the USO.”


He’ll be at the Lincoln Memorial on Thursday as part of the “Make America Great Again!  Welcome Celebration.”  Jon Voight will also be there, and other performers include Lee Greenwood, The Piano Guys, and 3 Doors Down.
