I remember growing up in the country how we worked until the daylight was gone. So I was so happy, as a kid, to see the sun going down because that meant I could finally get out of the field and into the house. Of course I had more energy then so when I got inside I would turn on my Atari 2600 and play some mad Pitfall or something. But still, I never thought of the sunset putting me in a better mood and just watching it slowly sink. When I was younger and still at home I prayed it could just hurry and set. Well, guess what? Now that I’m older I appreciate things more and sunrises and sunsets are in that group of thing I now really enjoy. I will stop what I’m doing now and just look at the sunset and wish it would last for another hour. When we went to the beach, seeing the sunset over the water just brought back all those memories growing up and how your prospective changes. I would love to hear yours. What do you really take delight in now but when you were a kid, you totally blew off?
