Just last week we heard about Neil Hanvey, a terminally ill “Star Wars” fan who was hoping to see “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” early because he was only expected to live for a couple more months.Well, sadly Neil passed away on Monday. He was just 36. The good news???? He DID see “Rogue One” on Saturday, two days before he passed. Apparently, his ‘#RogueOneWish’ campaign picked up enough steam last week to catch the eye of director Gareth Edwards, and he helped make it happen ASAP. Neil’s wife and caregivers posted a thank you on Facebook, saying, “Gareth Edwards did all he could to make Saturday a very special day for Neil. [We’d] like to say thank you to Disney, Lucasfilm and especially Gareth.” https://www.facebook.com/stmichaelshospicehereford/photos/a.139986962744616.36015.129935957083050/1152817294794906/?type=3
