The movie “Elf” celebrates 20 years!

In the spirit of the holidays, the Empire State Building is marking 20 years since the movie ‘Elf’ hit the big screen. Festivities celebrating the film starring Will Ferrell kick off today.

Tonight only, the building will be lit in green and yellow to mark the anniversary. There will also be three different screenings on the building’s 80th floor on December 3rd, 10th, and 17th. More information can be found on the Empire State Building’s website.

“Elf” will also return to theaters on November 17th and TBS and TNT are airing it all this month. Next month, Hulu, Max and AMC is where you can watch Buddy the elf’s adventures.
