The Chores We Really Do NOT Want to Do

“We don’t want to . . . and you can’t make us!” Claims our inner child-like voice, but Adulting 101 tells us we need to step up and be functioning human being in society . . . and it all starts at home . . . with CHORES.

Ugh!

According to a new survey, there are some chores we so badly do NOT want to do, they we will fight for our right to be lazy.

Most household arguments consist of fighting to not do these top five most hated chores:

1.  Washing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen.

2.  Doing laundry.

3.  Cleaning the bathroom, including the toilet.

4.  Sweeping and vacuuming.

5.  Cooking meals and grocery shopping.

In case you were wondering just how much of our lives are wasted — err, I mean “dedicated” — to household chores . . . the average person will spend 690 hours a year on housework.  Break that down, and we’re looking at 13 hours a week of chores.

I repeat . . . UGH!
