Here it comes, ready or not. It’s something most Americans live with, our parents have dealt with, and even our grandparents. They say it’s a good thing and it helps save money. They can say or sorts of things, but the truth is, I HATE CHANGING THE CLOCK!!!!! Did my frustration come through? I mean, when it was adopted for the first time back in 1918, for WWI, the reasons made sense. It’s been in play in some shape or form since that time to today. Not everyone changes the clock and I have to admit I’m a bit jealous of those that don’t tinker with trying to get that extra bit of daylight in the evening. But anyway, here we are, this time next week our bodies will go through the change and we have to deal with “jet lag”. I know some local officials keep bringing up the idea of staying on one time year around. I have to admit, with the clock change starring me in the face, if some politician wants my vote, then their platform will be, NO MORE TIME CHANGES.
