O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) – Various Artists

Produced by T Bone Burnett, this soundtrack features traditional folk and bluegrass music, including tracks by Alison Krauss, Gillian Welch, and The Soggy Bottom Boys. It won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2002.

Coal Miner’s Daughter (1980) – Various Artists

Starring Sissy Spacek as Loretta Lynn, this biographical film features a soundtrack that includes Lynn’s original recordings along with tracks performed by Spacek herself. It won the Academy Award for Best Actress for Spacek.

Crazy Heart (2009) – Various Artists

A Star Is Born (2018) – Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper
