Thank you to Clarksville and Dover!

When it comes to communities, Clarksville and Dover has the biggest hearts! Everybody went above and beyond for the Manna Cafe Combat Hunger food drive!

Manna Café Ministries held its 14th annual Combat Hunger on Saturday, collecting 23,523 pounds of donated food and $6,431 in cash donations.

Dozens of volunteers helped out with the effort at a dozen grocery stores in Clarksville-Montgomery County and three others in Dover.

Volunteers handed out food lists as shoppers went inside the stores. Shoppers were asked to buy a few extra food items and drop them off in food bins as they left. Other volunteers helped unload trucks and sort the items at the home of Manna Cafe on Providence Boulevard.
