Tarantula causes a car accident

I think the tv commercial that still makes me laugh as hard as the first time I saw it. Remember where the squirrels cause a station wagon to veer off the road and it crashes? Then the squirrels high five and slap hands.

Tourists got a big surprise as they drove in Death Valley National Park in Cali on Sunday. The nature conscious couple spotted a tarantula crossing the road, so they hit the brakes on the rented camper van to avoid hitting the creature. Unfortunately, a Canadian motorcyclist rammed the back of the camper. There’s no word on the biker’s condition, but he was taken to the hospital. The furry spider crawled away uninjured. The park service reminds: “Please drive slowly, especially going down steep hills in the park. Our roads still have gravel patches due to flood damage, and wildlife of all sizes are out.”
