Take Time

After posting this the other day and seeing all the sunrise pics others sent in, it just got me to thinking, maybe we need to take a bit more time to stare at a sunrise/sunset, a flower or something where the brain is not trying to figure out how to make ends meet or it’s not thinking about work, you know, stressful stuff.  I know we can’t do that all day every day, but maybe our brains need that moment for a reboot of sorts.  I’m preaching to the choir with this but as 2020 comes to an end I think I’m going to make a promise to myself to take a moment, it may be a couple or 5 or ten minutes and try to just enjoy what’s around me.  Easier said than done but here’s to trying.
