Suspects try to pawn items stolen from shop worker’s home

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A local pawn shop worker got a big surprise at his job when two people showed up with items that belonged to him. According to a police report, the victim was at work at a Riverside Dr. pawn shop Tuesday when the suspects came in to pawn several items. The victim recognized the items as his own and left the business to go home. When he arrived, he found that his home had been burglarized. The victim called police, who were able to apprehend the suspects while still at the pawn shop. 30-year-old Jeremy A. Watts from Franklin, TN and 24-year-old Jessica F. Heady from Nashville, TN were arrested and charged with aggravated burglary. Each had a bond of $50,000.
