St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations!

I used to live in Savannah, Georgia, seems like many moons ago. This is the home to one of the world’s largest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the world! It’s the type of celebration where people come from far and wide to attend this big ole party!

It is a wild party, the kind of party you used to attend when you were in your 20’s…remember? Yeah, me either!

Here’s a fun fact: the very first parade anywhere to honor the history of St. Patrick was held in St. Augustine, Florida, way back in 1601. Yep, it’s true. Emerald Isle inhabitants didn’t initiate St. Patrick’s Day parades. In fact, they didn’t even join in the fun until Waterford held Ireland’s first parade in 1903.

Well, if you happen to be in your 20’s or just want to party like we used to,  want to go on a weekend St. Patty’s Day trip…I’m going to give you the top cities for the biggest celebrations!

First, you can get celebrations in Clarksville, HERE

  1. Chicago
  2. New York
  3. Boston
  4. Denver
  5. Philly
  6. Savannah
  7. Detroit
  8. Pittsburgh
  9. San Fransisco
  10. New Orleans
