Some Things You Don’t Touch

OK, I don’t mean to sound like that person who thinks everything back when was better and can not be improved upon, but NO HBO, do not mess with Smokey And The Bandit!!  No No and NOOOOO!  How can you recreate the magic between Burt and Sally. Then toss in Jerry Reed and Jackie Gleason and you can not recreate what happened.  BTW, did you know Jackie Gleason ad-Libed most of the script?  The movie would have been the blockbuster of 1977 if it weren’t for that Star Wars movie.  Anyway, here’s what I found about the Bandit remake.

(And on a side note, I hate I couldn’t find a image of the 1977 T/A with a pic of Burt and Sally, so I had to settle with a pic of a T/A used in Smokey And The bandit II).
