Six Super Stressful Situations Our Grandparents Never Had to Experience

Is life today really that much more stressful than it used to be?

Sure, older generations had to deal with global wars, polio and what not, but things are pretty stressful these days too.  OK, maybe it’s not that stressful.

Here are 6 totally stressful situations our grandparents missed out on:

1. Have you ever been scrolling through someone’s Instagram and accidentally “like” something old and now you know you totally just got caught deep creepin.’  Yeah, and now you look like a total stalker, and it’s even more embarrasing when it’s someone you know but you don’t follow!  BTW, this is called a ‘Deep Like,” but I personally think “deep creepin'” sells it a bit better.

2.  You lied about a sick day because you wanted to play hooky and hang with your friends…. and then someone TAGS you in a photo or video and now your boss knows what’s up.

3.  Wanting to update your LinkedIn profile, so you can apply for a new job.  Except your current boss can totally see and now knows your planning to quit and you don’t even have another prospect lined up.

4.  You forgot to proofread a text or work email you drafted via your mobile device.  Oh, but then your Autocorrect changed a word to something dumb or makes you look like you don’t know the difference between “their, they’re, and there,” or to something even more embarrassingly inappropriate.

5.  Talking trash on someone in a group text… only to realize far too late that the person was ON THE GROUP TEXT!!  Maybe just don’t talk (or type)about people behind their backs.

6.  You’re in a new relationship, only to find they’re STILL active on dating apps like Tinder.  That’s an awkward conversation to have.
