Send a Ft. Campbell soldier stationed overseas a care package…FREE!

Let’s show Ft. Campbell soldiers how much Beaver Country appreciates them!  How about sending a FREE care package!!!

Canadian whisky brand Crown Royal is running its annual Purple Bag Project, allowing people to send custom care packages to active military members stationed overseas for free. Anyone 21 or older can go to pack.crownroyal.com and choose four items from a selection including jerky, cookies, snacks, nuts, and tea. Then, along with a personalized message, the items will then be sent to troops stationed overseas.

The initiative offers a unique way to honor U.S. troops without any financial commitment, just a small investment of time. The program, a collaboration with Packages From Home, has already sent over one million bags, and will be available until December 31st, or while supplies last.

The Purple Bag Project also allows requests to have a package sent to a specific service member. And for anyone who would rather just give money, they’re taking donations for Packages From Home to help them in their mission to improve the lives of active and former military members.
