Reports say U2 may headline Bonnaroo in 2017

MANCHESTER, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Nashville Scene, citing a report from Billboard, wrote that U2 is rumored to headline Bonnaroo in 2017. The band shared on their Facebook page that they have some “special” shows planned. Billboard says the band will soon go on a special U.S. stadium tour to play their 1987 Joshua Tree album in its entirety at each show. Bonnaroo is rumored to be one of these shows. Bonnaroo officials have not yet confirmed this report. Bonnaroo is scheduled for June 8-11 in Manchester, Tennessee. The yearly music and arts festival has featured some of the biggest acts in the world, including Paul McCartney, Elton John, Pearl Jam, and dozens of others.
