Refresh your summer accessories!

It’s just about time for Camp Rainbow! In about a month, I will be off to Brandon Springs to have a good time with the kids and the great people at Camp Rainbow! I’m going to need all the things for a week at camp….bathing suit to go swimming with my camper, sunglasses, sunscreen (even though the camp has it, no kid is getting sunburnt on my watch), bug spray, shampoo, soap, all the things!

This is the time to freshen up summer vacation supplies if you don’t go to camp. Before you pack for a trip to the beach, declutter or even replace your stuff. Here are items that should be on your checklist:

  1. Beach Chairs. Are they still in good shape? If not, replace them
  2. Beach/Pool Towels. Frayed or worn towel need to be tossed and new ones bought
  3. Sunscreen. It’s best to replace it every year
  4. Mini Toiletries. If you have a collection of travel size toiletries from hotels and stores, go through them and pitch anything that is old.
  5. TSA-Approved Bottles. Don’t forget to wash or replace them
  6. Luggage. If it’s beat up, say bye to it and buy new
  7. Bathing Suits. Worn out bathing suits need to be thrown out and replaced
