Real Scare at Haunted House in Nashville

As if haunted houses weren’t already scary enough . . .

Two Nashville friends got more scares than they paid for.

While visiting Nashville Nightmare in Madison, TN, James Yochim and his friend, Tawnya Greenfield, kept getting approached and scared by the usual haunted house suspects with fake chainsaws and weapons.

Typical, right? – – Until a scary thin man with skull makeup approached Tawnya and asked if James was messing with her, to which she jokingly replied, “Yes.”

So, scary thin man in skull makeup handed Tawnya a fake knife and told her to, “Stab him,” and Tawnya rolled with it.

Thing is, the knife went into James’ arm, because it was a REAL KNIFE!!

The good news is, the very real knife did not hit any major arteries, bones or tendons, and, after nine stitches, James is expected to be OK.  In the moment though, blood was gushing and James blacked out.

The friends do recall the unknown man, AKA scary thin man in skull makeup, apologizing and saying, “I didn’t know my knife was that sharp.”

The organizers for Nashville Nightmare told reporters an employee believed to be “involved in some way” has since been placed on leave “until we can determine his involvement.”

The initial police report stated the suspect had not been identified and, so far, no charges have been made as of yet.
