Professional Wrestling Legend Set To Have Last Match At Age 73

Just announced this morning by several outlets, 73 year old, Nature Boy Ric Flair will have his final professional wrestling match on July 31st.

The last time Flair wrestled was 2011 for Impact Wrestling where he lost to the Icon Sting.  Since then, Flair has made appearances in wrestling but hasn’t actually laced up his boots in over 10 years. Ric’s career spans over 5 decades, in that time he has won the World Championship 16 times.  He has held titles in several promotions like WCW, NWA and WWE, according to Sports Illustrated.

The rumors of Ric getting back in the ring started when video surfaced of him in the ring with fellow professional wrestler Jay Lethal.

The Nature Boy’s last match is set to take place Sunday, July 31st at the Nashville Fairgrounds.  The event is being called ‘Ric Flair’s Last Match’ presented by Jim Crockett Promotions.  You can either experience the event in person or watch it live on Fite Tv.  There is no word as of yet who his opponent will be.  The rumor is, the match will be a Six-Man Tag Match with AEW Tag Team FTR in Ric’s versus The Rock N Roll Express and a partner of their choosing.

In wrestling, one of the unwritten rules is, “never say never.”

Can the limousine riding, jet flying, kiss stealing, son of a gun get one last win under his belt?
