When you get on an escalator, are you someone who just stands there and waits patiently as you ride, or so you walk up/down as it moves?
If you’re the latter (like us) . . . you’re slowing down everyone else! That’s according to an engineering professor from Mississippi State University.
The MSU professor claims it’s more efficient to have two people ride side-by-side, and that will help people get up or down quicker than the alternatives.
Walking may help someone get up or down a little faster, but slows the overall process.
