Nostalgic Toys We Wish Our Kids Wanted for Christmas

Imagine buying a toy your LOVED as a kid for a child in your life, only for them to be all like, “oh cool, thanks,” before they go back to their video games or tablets.

It happens for more often than you may think.

In a recent survey, parents were asked to name the old-school toys they wish their offspring wanted.

They are . . .

  1. A bike
  2. Puzzles
  3. Board games
  4. A teddy bear or stuffed animal
  5. A ball.  Like a football or basketball
  6. Building blocks
  7. An art set
  8. Modelling clay
  9. Toy animals
  10.  A jump rope

Some others on the list that didn’t crack the Top 10 were musical instruments (#11) . . . dress-up clothes (#12) . . . a train set (#14) . . . a yo-yo (#15) . . . a doll house (#21) . . . a telescope (#23) . . . a magic kit (#29).
