Nicolas Cage Attended a Nicolas Cage Film Festival . . . and Read “The Tell-Tale Heart”

The Alamo Drafthouse theater in Austin, Texas has an annual NICOLAS CAGE film festival called “Caged”.  This year’s went down Sunday night, and it might have been the best Caged EVER . . . because Nic actually showed up! He even picked this year’s movies, which were “Bangkok Dangerous”, “Joe”, “Bringing Out the Dead”, “Army of One”, and “Lord of War”. He also got to witness a marriage proposal, and he treated the crowd to a reading of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart”. This was the fourth Caged, but the first one he made it to.  He said, quote, “I’ve been trying to get here before, never happened, but I was always very touched that this was occurring here in Austin.”
