Nashville and Clarksville New Year’s Eve events

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) Nashville’s big New Year’s Eve celebration moves from Broadway to Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park and has been re-branded the “Jack Daniel’s Music City Midnight: New Year’s Eve in Nashville.” The event features free a concert starring Keith Urban, Styx, A Thousand Horses, Moon Taxi, Charlie Worsham and the Fisk Jubilee Singers. Those attending can count down to the New Year as a 15-foot-tall red “Music Note Drop” drops slowly from a 145-foot structure triggering a fireworks display and confetti cannons as it reaches midnight. For those celebrating on lower Broadway, there will be a large screen to show the concert and note drop as well as a secondary fireworks show across the Cumberland River. Shuttles will run between locations to allow partygoers to enjoy them both. Other options in Nashville include:

  • John Prine with Jason Isbell and Kacey Musgraves at the Grand Ole Opry House
  • Old Crow Medicine Show at The Ryman Auditorium
  • Phil Vassar at Franklin Theatre
  • Widespread Panic at Bridgestone Arena

Celebrating in Clarksville

  • O’Connor’s Irish Pub and Grill – DJ Cricket and Neil Brock and the Cover Up, appetizers and champaign toast at midnight. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Doors open at 3:00.
