My Daughter Is Into Hot Wheels And I Couldn’t Be Happier

Now, that my daughter is getting older and playing with toys more, I try to get her to like toys that I can play with as well.  I am sorry, I just don’t want to play with Barbies.

Over the past year I have been slowly buying her cars to play with and she is finally playing with them consistently.  She will look at me when she wants to play with them and say “cars” then start pretending she’s driving.  That is her way of telling me it’s time to play with cars.  She loves crashing them together and having them roll down things like her slide.

For Christmas I got her some Mickey Mouse ones and just the other day we found a donut one that I had to get her.

But I am a bad parent for pushing things on her because I want to play with certain toys?  Dad just wants to have fun too!

Her birthday is in May, I plan on buying her racing tracks for the Hot Wheels.
