Whether you’re hitting up CMA Fest in Nashville, jaunting down to Bonnaroo in Manchester, or making your way to any other music festivals this summer, some of our favorite country artists have survival tips that can help make your experience a better one.
Scotty McCreery stands by keeping hydrated and getting started with lots of water early, “because it’s the only way to make it all the way to late night.” He’s also a fan of drinking Pedialyte.
Cam is echos that water is a necessity, and stressed the importance of sunscreen and big hats.
Jennifer Fiedler (of Smithfield) advises against wearing a certain color, saying, “Don’t ever wear grey, because [it’s] the worst to show sweat.”
Carly Pearce encourages minimal clothing and breathable fabric. She says, “I sweat a lot, and it ain’t fun. But just wear minimal clothes.”

Maren Morris had some advice that Jai may or may not have gotten a little too excited about… Her advice is, “Don’t let anyone make you feel guilty about wearing a fanny pack because they’re perfect for festivals.” (excuse Jai while she hits up Amazon in search for a fanny back)
Kip Moore has a different type of advice, that we can only guess came from an experience we’d like to here more about… His advice, “Stay away from the corn dogs. Tequila and corn dogs will take you right down.”
