MCSO deputies deliver gifts to children, the elderly on Christmas Eve

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office spent Christmas Eve delivering toys, puzzles, and presents to children and the elderly. Deputies delivered toys to children at the local hospital in Clarksville and to the elderly at Palmyra Intermediate Care Center. Deputies Fleming, McDowell, Oakes, Edwards, Sinitiere, Sohn, Camacho, and Hunt spread Christmas cheer to the Thomas family, Sammy, Christian, Alex, Isabel, Albany, Ayden, Daniel, Luna, Lyra, Mary, Zoe, Jayden, Camden, Tiffany, Cody, and Harry. Deputies also stopped random families at gas stations, restaurants, and shopping areas to hand out toys to unsuspecting children. In addition to today’s spreading of Christmas Cheer, last night members of the Sheriff’s Office, Clarksville Police Department, and dispatchers at E911 donated $750 to buy toys for the 14 children who are currently staying at the Salvation Army Shelter.
