Man wanted for stealing TV from murder victim memorial at library

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Detective Scott Beaubien with the Clarksville Police Department is trying to identify a suspect involved in a theft at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library. An unknown black male suspect entered the library on Dec. 14 between 7:50 p.m. and 7:57 p.m. and stole a black 32” flat screen TV with a DVD player from the On Wings of Love display. The On Wings of Love display was set up for the families of 423 homicide victims to come together to remember their loved ones. Each family hung an ornament on the Christmas tree at the library. In the photos provided by Detective Beaubien from the library, you will see the suspect in two different shirts. He enters in a green sweatshirt and exits in a dark hoodie. He has the same jeans and shoes on in the images.
