Man steals car after food stamp card won’t work

A man in Pompano Beach, Florida really wanted that BMW he saw in the Brascar Auto Sales dealership. He first tried to buy the $60,000 vehicle with his food stamps, coming back to the dealership several times to try to purchase it. When that didn’t work, he came back after the dealership closed, broke into it, and stole the car, along with 60 sets of car keys. Dealership manager Evandro Pereira said the first name that came to mind when he found the car stolen the next morning was Nicholas Jackson. Police arrested Pereira after the car ran out of gas after he stole it. Jackson admitted that he entered the dealership through a window and stole the car and keys. All were safely returned to the dealership. Jackson was charged with grand theft auto, with a bond of $20,000. It’s a good bet they wouldn’t take his food stamps for the bond money either. https://twitter.com/beaver1003/status/790865726454239232
