A guy got into an elevator at a hotel in South Carolina last week, and didn’t realize his dog was still outside when the doors closed.  So when the elevator went up, it would have been strangled by its leash. But the hotel manager happened to walk by . . . realized what was happening . . . grabbed the dog . . . and snapped the leash just in time. The manager’s name is Ben Duke.  He says the owner came running down the stairs a few seconds later CRYING.  Then he saw his dog was okay, and gave Ben a huge hug.
