Man Eats Big Mac’s Everyday For The Past 50 Years

Don Gorske, a legend in Wisconsin.  Since May 17th, 1972, Don has ate a McDonald’s Big Mac everyday of his life (sometimes 2 a day).

He use to eat McNuggets everyday, then he switched to Cheeseburgers.  Once he got sick of those items he chose the Big Mac and stuck with it ever since.  Don is from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and he has a special relationship with the local McDonalds’s he goes to, they even have a picture of him hanging in the restaurant.

As of August 2021, Don has eaten 32,340 Big Mac’s which is a Guinness World Record. Yes, he has tried a Whopper from Burger King in 1984 and the was the last Whopper he ever had.

Well, we may have stretched the truth a little bit, Don missed having a Big Mac 8 different times throughout the 50 years.  But, come on, are we really going to hold that against him?

Don says he plans on eating Big Mac’s everyday for the rest of his life.  People often ask him how he hasn’t gained a bunch of weight or gotten sick, he claims it’s all about his lifestyle outside of McDonald’s.  He stays fit and active to keep off the calories.

Don said the first time he ate a Big Mac, it was “love at first bite.”

If you are wondering how he kept up with the exact number of Big Mac’s he ate, he saved the box it comes in and receipts.
