Make-A-Wish Kid Wishes to Further His Education . . . Gets Full Scholarship

We’ve seen a lot of Make-a-Wish stories.  But this is one that has the power to keep on giving . . .

There’s an 18-year-old in Arizona named Jaime Gamez who was diagnosed with cancer last year, but he’s in remission now.

Even with all his treatments, he still managed to graduate high school.  And when the Make-a-Wish Foundation asked what his wish was, he said he just wanted to KEEP going to school.

All he wanted was to go to a technical school near Phoenix, so he could study to be a diesel technician and work on big engines.

So on Wednesday, some of the Make-a-Wish people took him there to check the place out . . . then revealed he’d been awarded a FULL SCHOLARSHIP.

The president of the school announced that Make-a-Wish was covering 100% of his tuition.  And he broke down in tears.

She said he could have asked for anything, like meeting his favorite celebrity.  And it’s incredible that the thing he wanted most was to further his education.
