Luke Bryan Unable to Mingle with Fans

Luke Bryan has always been a fan favorite, and he’s always returned the love by mixing things up at shows and hanging with fans.

Unfortunately, we live in a different world than years past, and since the Route 91 tragedy, Bryan’s security team has instilled new protocols for the country singer.

An example would be this year’s CMT Awards: “I used to run and high five the whole damn street,” says Bryan, ” that was prior to this new crazy world we’re living in.  And guys that are advising me on security stuff . . . they’re like ‘We just don’t like you running, we don’t know what’s across there.'”

The “Most People Are Good” singer continues, “It sucks that you have to think about it.  You just can’t go love and hug-on fans like you used to.”

Bryan’s security team also have a new protocol in place — If Luke hears a specific word in his monitors, it means he needs to hightail his rear out of there.  He says, “This time last year we didn’t have a global security word that meant clear the damn stage.”
