Loretta Lynn Tried Marijuana for the first time at Age 84

In a recent interview with People, Loretta Lynn admitted to trying marijuana for the first time at the age of 84. Loretta told the magazine that she took her first toke a few months ago for medicinal purposes, but said she didn’t like how the drug affected her. Lynn said, “I got glaucoma and they gave me one of these cigarettes. I took one smoke off of it and it hit me right here in the chest. I like to have died! Glaucoma is just going to have to take over.” The subject of marijuana came up in the interview when Loretta was defending her friend Willie Nelson for his pot smoking. Lynn said, “(Willie’s) one of the greatest people in the whole world. I know he smokes pot, but my goodness, there’s a lot people doing a lot worse than smoking pot!”
