The police in Fort Myers, Florida got a LIFE-OR-DEATH 911 call last week. A guy was locked out of his hotel room and his four-year-old daughter was inside . . . and she was choking on candy. He said there was no one at the hotel to help him get into the room, and he wasn’t sure if his daughter was breathing. So a whole army of firefighters, paramedics, and cops rushed to the hotel to help save the girl. But when they got there, the guy wasn’t waiting outside for them. And when they went to his room, he wasn’t there either, and they didn’t hear anything inside. The guy finally came around a corner and told them “all of this” wasn’t necessary . . . because he made up the story about his daughter. He’d just locked himself out of the room and wanted help getting in. He was arrested for misuse of 911.
