Last Time You Slept Through Something

Whether you’re a light sleeper or not, we’ve all had, at least, “that one time” when we slept through something impressive.  Maybe it was a storm, maybe it was your alarm, maybe it was a your spouse watching a late night movie a little too loud…

Fletch woke up the other day and thought Moriah actually had  a good night’s sleep.  He figured since he’d had such a peaceful night, no doubt Moriah did too. Fletch thought his baby girl slept for a straight 4 or 5 hours and was feeling a sense of pride, but, when he mentioned it to his wife, Ruthanna, she kindly replied, “YOU MEAN YOU SLEPT THROUGH THAT?!”   Apparently, Moriah had been screaming her head off All. Night. Long.  Daddy Fletch had NO idea.

Jai has a tendency to sleep through quite a lot.  One of her more impressive sleep-through-anything moments happened when she was in high school.  Jai had gotten home and decided to take a nap, but first turned on the house alarm.  Apparently, she put the alarm on Away instead of Stay and, while she was sleeping, her cat set the alarm off.  Jai slept through the normal alarm sound, slept through the louder everyone-outside-can-now-hear-the-alarm sound, and only woke up when the police and another family member arrived who’d been alerted the alarm was going off.  Imagine, waking up from a nap to see a couple police officers standing in your room.

We want to hear your slept-right-through-it stories.  Tell us about it on The Beaver 100.3 FM Facebook Page.
