Kindness Transcends Age

Check out this proud parent moment:

8 year old Maurice Adams Jr. was in the car with his mom when he noticed and elderly lady with a walker.  She’d crossed the street and was struggling to get up a set of stairs leading to a sidewalk.

On his own, Maurice asked his mom if he could go help the elderly woman.  The elderly woman told Maurice he’s a special kid for looking out for her like he did.

A random bystander happened to see what Maurice was doing, and pulled out his phone to capture the heartwarming moment, later posting it to Facebook where it’s been shared over 24,000 times.  The bystander also tracked down Maurice’s mom on the social networking platform because he wanted to gift Maurice with $100 for being a great kid and an inspiration of kindness for all of us.
