Kelsea Ballerini Drops Music Video for New Song “Hole in the Bottle”

Gotta love a good country drinking song!

Kelsea Ballerini gets it.

Cue “Hole in the Bottle,” a country song with a vintage feel.

KB dropped the music video on Monday (8/31), directed Hannah Lux Davis (frequent collaborator of Ariana Grande and Halsey), that hits like a “drunken daydream.”

“Hole in the Bottle” is a tongue in cheek bop with classic country vibes and Ballerini’s “first drinking song,” and Jai’s hoping it’s not her last.

Ballerini told Entertainment Weekly in an interview, “For me, the last few years have been about digging into who I am as a young woman now, how I feel about myself, and he hings I struggle with, the things I love, the things I’ve found joy in, the things that make me really anxious . . . That’s what I ended up writing about because that’s what Ive been walking through and experiencing. So its kind of like the get-to-know-myself album.”

We’ll all get to see KB take the ACM Awards stage for a performance of “Hole in the Bottle” at the Ryman Auditorium. Other performers for the September 16 award show are Maren Morris, Old Dominion & Thomas Rhett featuring Jon Pardi, Gabby Barrett.
